Lincraft Entice scarf pattern details

This Lincraft Entice scarf pattern is perfect if wool around your neckline makes you itch.

Lincraft’s Entice is a super soft 100 percent Nylon yarn, cool handwashable and drycleanable.

Entice is made specifically for Lincraft in Australia and is one of their stock standard lines, currently available at A$ 2.99 per 50g ball (you’ll need 2 balls to make the scarf shown.)

We’ve included a close up photo of the actual yarn at the bottom of this page enabling viewers outside of Australia to substitute a similar yarn available in their/your own location.

This Lincraft yarn knits up quickly - one or two evenings and you’ll be wearing your scarf….

Scarf Pattern Instructions

Using 15mm needles cast on 15 stitches.
Work scarf in garter stitch (all rows knit)

Continue until you reach desired length or have used both balls.(Take care to introduce your second ball of yarn at the edge of your scarf, allowing the ends to be woven along the edges rather than in the centre where you will feel the join).

Cast off (bind off).

Finishing Off:

Using wool needle weave all ends into your scarf and clip off close to fabric.

Blocking :

This scarf does not require blocking, in fact blocking will flatten the texture and should be avoided.

Storage:

Your Lincraft Entice scarf pattern is an open weave, therefore your finished scarf should be stored folded in a drawer or on a flat surface when not in use.

In general hanging open weave scarves stretches them out of shape.
