lace scarf patternshort or long version
Do you have a sweater or shirt you love - but the colour simply doesn’t suit your complexion?
One of these lightweight scarves or neckwarmers will be the perfect solution. Use a color that does flatter
your skin tones.
One ball of yarn (102m/112yds) makes the short version shown here, two balls and you have a long wrap-around-your-neck length scarf.
We used Yarn Bee - Hues of Opulence 115 for the illustrated version.
20stitches x 26rows = 10cm (4ins) using 4mm (US 6, UK 8) needles.
You could readily substitute a different cotton or bamboo yarn for summer or an alpaca yarn for winter - with the same ball band tension of course..
The cotton/acrylic/polyester yarn we chose from “Yarn bee”, adds very little warmth but cheers up a navy crew necked jumper as you can see by the photographs, it also gives an opportunity to showcase this beautiful old family broach !!.
.
And to make things simple we've included both imperial and metric (inches and cms) sizes and measurements within the pattern.
