You'll have plenty of yarn choice for this hat pattern. Choose Panda Woolbale (hand wash only) as we have or select any hand or machine washable wool equivalent to a standard 8ply. What does that mean?

Choose your wool with an equivalent ball band tension of 22sts x 30rows using a 4mm (US6 or UK8) knitting needle.

If you prefer to work with acrylics, that's fine but be aware your lace hat won't be as warm, it will have a more "open" texture.
