The knitted grocery bag pattern in the above image was knitted in cotton, making it easy wash and care, but if durability isn’t of concern and you can imagine this pattern in a more exotic fiber try one of the bamboo yarns

The colours are vibrant and easy wash. A word of warning however, this bamboo yarn isn't suitable for a first time knitter.

Why? Bamboozle has very little twist to the yarn, you have to be very careful to knit the whole thread/strand.

Nevertheless, bamboo yarn is worth considering by an experienced knitter, and is available in almost every country.
