This felted tote bag pattern is fast and easy to knit and a breeze to felt, it's large and sturdy and will hold a ton of shopping - or anything else you plan to carry.

We chose a bulky thick and thin 100 percent wool yarn and added an eyelash type yarn sash - showcasing the textural differences.....

This tote is so sturdy and smooth inside, you won't need to line it.....we said this was quick..!

Skill level : felting - easy
Size : 17.5x13.5 inches (44x34 cms) flat base.
We've left the top open because your hand on the handle offers sufficient security, however, you could add a snap (or press stud) just below the handle if you wish.

Both imperial and metric measurements - inches and cms - and needle sizes are included within the pattern together with yarn suggestions and substitutions.

Sash yarn
The sash uses as typical "eyelash" type yarn available under a variety of brand names worldwide.
For the perfect finish felt your tote before attaching your sash.

Needles: This pattern begins with double pointed needles (dpns) then moves to circular needles - making all rounds knit - great to keep your hands busy while you watch a movie or read a pdf book if you're an experienced knitter. !
