You'll notice there's a wide range of knitting pattern styles featured here including standard single yarn knitting where the yarn does the talking, colored knitting with one colour per row, Fair Isle using 2 colours and occasionally 3 colours per knitted row.

You'll also find patterns knitted to show the novelty value of the yarn itself i.e. funky fur yarns, eyelash type yarns and even a zig zag ribbon yarn.
