cotton beach bag knitting pattern

I'm sure you'll agree sturdy and good looking beach totes or bags are a must-have to carry all that summer fun stuff around.

As well as being roomy a beach tote needs to be easy wash and care - this one is both - and a personal favourite beach bag pattern.

If you already have the knitting basics ie cast on, knit, purl and cast off (US bind off) you'll find this pattern easy and a pleasure to both knit and use.

Finished size : Approx : 12 x 12 inches (30cms x 30cms) not including handles. Skill level : easy Yarn : Knitting cotton - 8 ply / dk / 3 / light worsted

The illustrated bag used "Sirdar" Pure cotton - double knitting Cotton - Colour 0021. This cotton is available in most countries. But of course substitute any brand of knitting cotton you prefer.
