Alpaca gloves pattern

Use our detailed instructions to make this gloves pattern the perfect - no fuss - fit. Only 2 needles and 2 balls of yarn. Gloves skill level : Easy

We used 2 balls (balls = 50g or 1.75oz) of Lincraft "Lima" (45% Alpaca wool, 35% acrylic, 20% Polyamide) for the illustrated gloves - but no matter where you live you will be able to find a suitable alpaca wool blend to complete this project.

Just choose a yarn with a ball band tension of 18 stitches x 28 rows = 4inches (10cms) using US6/UK8/4mm needles with similar properties.

The Alpaca provides the luxurious feel to these gloves while the acrylic and polyamide content provides durability.

Our pattern features a slightly longer than normal cuff length - from cast on to wrist - ensuring no cold draughts.
