Our sock pattern tells you exactly where and when to lengthen or shorten the socks - feet and/or leg length - you’ll achieve a perfect fit every time.

3 balls (3 x 50g - 3 x 1.75oz) of Zhivago provides sufficient yarn to match stripes for a professional finish (see our photo below).

You’ll also have sufficient yarn to lengthen both the feet and the legs if you choose - actual yarn used for socks shown was 105g (a smidgen more than 2 balls).

Socks pictured fit an average sized ladies foot - heel base to end of longest toe 24cms (9.5 ins).

This knitting pattern includes instructions to adjust the foot and/or the leg length. Tailor the pattern to suit yourself - no need to skimp - the suggested 3 balls of yarn gives you plenty to play around with.
